Christmas Markets are very special to Germany.
Some are bigger than others. Hannover christmas market is quite big with hundreds of booths that sell various beautiful things: toys,clothes, decorations, food. Our favorite booths are the ones that sell wooden toys or decorations. I love how the Germans decorate with real greenery. They decorate top of stores, booths, and on many a lampposts they tie real christmas trees.
They even had a medieval section where they cooked and sold anything and everything medieval-ish.

Now we know where you get your obsession with LIVE greenery at Christmas.....it's in your genes :)......really beautiful!
My favorite original use of the greenery is when they cover the roof with it....that's lovely.
