Last December was filled with lots of Christmas spirit and absolute chaos (hence the reason it has taken me a month to even write a post about, I'm only just recovering). We had so much fun celebrating the season by making gifts, baking, throwing a gingerbread party, attending various Christmas parties, singing carols, and being with family.

The Gingerbread Party: My Mother and I made Christmas aprons for all the girls. They loved them. I was surprised that Chrissie actually decorated her house. I was expecting her to just eat the candy.

Making Christmas Ornaments.

Visits with Santa Claus. I tried to encourage Chrissie to wear something a bit more Christmas-ish for our church Christmas Party, but, she insisted on wearing her pink dress.
St. Nicholas Day-December 6th. A wonderful tradition that Chrissie loves. On the night of Dec. 5th you set out your shoes and St. Nicholas comes around that night to see who has been good or bad. A sort of quick check before the big night. He leaves candy and little presents. After that day, Chrissie kept putting her shoes out to see if Santa Claus would leave her something.
Christmas Eve dinner at my house with my brother and his family, and my parents.

The Little Witches Party, The Gingerbread Party...I mean, honestly!? You need to write a book and fill it with all of your darling party ideas! I think from here on out I am going to call you little Ms. Martha. Well, now that I think about it...I like the name Vanessa a heck of a lot more than Martha. So, never mind :)
I am serious about the book. You are so talented.
ps: I have been devouring my grapefruit! My mouth got a little sore the other day after I ate my second one within 24 hours!
