The Easter bunny in this Lochhead home hides shoes (with special presents) and Easter eggs with treats.

And then I decorated Easter baskets and gave each child a book. Matthew got "Make way for Ducklings," Chrissie and Jane got different versions of mother goose nursery rhymes. Chrissie loves the book and has memorized some of the rhymes so that now she can "read" it to me or just recite them out loud all day long.
The easter bunny put crayons in the kids shoes. The kids enjoyed searching for their shoes. The bunny also hid one of my shoes up the stove vent (supposedly he went easy on me this year). Rick took a longer time looking for his shoe this year. The Easter bunny is getting better and better at hiding Rick's shoes. They're quite large and not easy to hide.

Easter egg hunt.
The Easter bunny was very clever this year and not only hid eggs in the grass, but, in trees on the roof, and on the fence.

William, Zach, and Chrissie enjoy their Easter loot.
