Summer Travels-Lake Winnipesaukee

( of course the time I forget an extra outfit for Jane, she needs one, poor girl)

For the past five years or so my brother and his family, who live in Massachusetts, have been flying to the west coast for family reunions. This summer, we decided to give them a break and come to the east coast. We stayed at a house near the beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee
On Sunday we visited Sharon, Vermont-Joseph Smith's birthplace. What a special spirit was there as we learned more about the early pioneers and the sacrifices they made for our church.

Matthew with "boppy." Matthew is attached his grandpa (and always has been) and quickly became attached to cousin Kyle (despite the desperate efforts made by the girl cousins to bond with Matthew)-why Kyle? because he wrestled with him. Nothing like a little wrestling to create a bond.

Some of the Zinn Clan. My dad is holding Matthew, big surprise. During the trip, Matthew was always begging my dad to hold him or wrestle with him or get him a treat.

Matthew rolling down the hill in Sharon, Vermont, after he'd been a growling bear and after he'd been hiking in the "forest".

Chrissie with some boy cousins-there are no girl cousins her age on the Zinn side-those boys are so sweet with her.

I am so captivated by photos of Jane. How can a little baby simply look at you as you take the photo and each look is different. Her "same" look is NEVER the same??? And she always looks so "aware". How I wish I knew what she was thinking.
