Happy Birthday Jane!

The big Three. 

(or as Jane prefers: the little three)

According to Jane she's been three for about a month.  And the last two weeks she's been saying that her birthday would be in "5 minutes." Whelp, that five minutes has finally arrived!

Jane woke up so excited for her birthday. And proceeded to wake up her brother, who wasn't too excited.  I love her expression. You can just tell she is so pleased it's her birthday.

It took a lot of will power for her not to open her presents until breakfast.  Once everyone sat down she wasted no time unwrapping her gifts. I couldn't even get her to look at me for a photo.  She was on a mission: unwrap her presents!

 Her birthday began with a Birthday Breakfast...  

and ended with a special dinner and birthday cake!

 Now it may seem odd that she has six candles on her cake when in fact she is three.  Well, she insisted on those candles and by golly it's her birthday.

 Here they are singing "Happy Birthday." According to Jane, it was time to "sing happy birthday to my cake." And so we did and with vigor too!

She needed a little help from the big brother.

 Words to describe miss Jane: full of life, aware, spit fire/pistol (you choose) but then she can be so sweet and endearing.  She loooves dolls and princesses. She's a monkey and will climb with the agility of a mountain goat.
