(Hohensalzburg Schloss)
Another wonderful weekend with our fellow traveling relations-the Schrohowsky family.
Up the tram we go to visit Hohensalzburg Schloss. A castle dating back to 1077 A.D
Walking through an old and new cemetery.
For the rest of the afternoon the kids played at the park while the adults visited.
And then we made a stop through the Mirabell gardens.
The kids were fascinated with this man's music.
So my favorite part of this trip was watching Emil and Matthew "fight dance." Emil was the dragon. Matthew was the Knight. They had paused their play to listen to the accordion man but then spontaneously started "dance fighting." I was in tears laughing. They were dancing while pretending to fight and both were laughing. Seriously I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. Ahh, good times.
The fighting ended when the dragon suddenly collapsed onto the ground, dead. Again need I remind you, this role play was being performed in the middle of Salzburg.
