Every morning Rick gets up takes the train down into Hannover and then takes the straßenbahn (kind of like a tram) into work. Rick has been working at the International Neurosurgery Institute as a fellow for Dr. Samii. He has met many people that come from all over Europe, Eastern Europe, Iran, Egypt, and Asia.
