Hawaii (part 3)

On Sunday, we decided to make it different and special.  We went to church and then visited the volcanoes.

We learned about trees, plants, and birds before seeing the volcano.

Here we are entering the lava tubes.

And then Monday was spent relaxing at the pool and beach.
I loved how Jane would line up her toys.

A personal highlight of the trip: Matthew in his "diving gear."  Rick got each of the kids snorkeling gear.  However, snorekling out the ocean with real fish was just a little too creepy.  But they loved using them in the pool-especially Matthew.  He would put that whole outfit on (ten times at least in one sitting) right next to the chairs and then just waddle his way to the pool.  Oh man I love that boy.

I thought that I looked particular awesome (not sure if it's the Wal Mart sunglasses or outfit).  I have a bit of "sun phobia."  I was the most covered female at the pool, probably in all of Hawaii.  To my credit, I got sunburned the first day...

When we went back for a little lunch, Jane decided to take a little bath in the sink all the while singing a lovely princess song...and I thought she was just using the toilet.
At the beach the kids built a sand Volcano and it was complete with lava tubes (naturally).

And then here are a whole slew of Daniel photos because I just can't delete one-cute boy!

You took all four of your babies to Hawaii?!?! You and Rick win the award for that. I'm impressed! Traveling with kids is HARD. There are always sweet moments though of course. And that is what makes it all worth it :)
Glad you enjoyed your adventures!
