Since Sunday was such an excursion, we decided to take it easy yesterday. We explored the area and hiked to some waterfalls.

We lucked out in the sleeping arrangements. Originally we were in a tiny cabin but the owner upgraded us to one of his larger, newer cabins.
They are pointing to the icicles in their pockets.

Wow, how stunning! It looks so picturesque there. When do you guys come back? I had to laugh the other day when we were sitting outside, enjoying the freshly mowed lawn when Paige sighed and said, "This reminds me of Chrissie's yard, with all the grass and the trees." My kids (and I!) still hold your fairytale yard in the highest of regards to which nothing else can compare! Come home soon!

How fun to read through some of your adventures and see the pictures. You make me hungry for a little European travel! Too bad we missed out doing it with you guys in Holland...but I'll take the inspiration, if that's all I get. Glad you made it across the pond in one piece. We miss you.
