Gruyere cheese factory. Gruyere is my favorite cheese.
We stopped for lunch in the old village of Gruyere.
I had cheese fondue and Rick had raclette. Our diet this trip has consisted of cheese, bread, and chocolate.
Chalet de Gruyeres
In the "knights meeting" room-Matthew entranced with a wall painting of knights in battle.
Matthew describing to Rick how a canyon works.
Still talking...still fascinated.
Callier (or Nestle) chocolate factory. We went on an amazing kid-friendly tour describing the origins of chocolate and the birth of the factory. Then we smelled the cocoa beans with other interactive activities. Callier is one of few companies that uses milk instead of milk powder in their chocolate. And the milk is fresh from the cows grazing in their fields.

At the end there was chocolate samples...delicious. We were only allowed to take one. However, Matthew was double fisting them into his mouth despite our efforts.

Gruyere cheese factory ... heaven.
I think these are my favorite set of pictures. The smile on your face in the first one and then Matthew in front of the knights painting are particularly good.
